I am having a problem with my account and/or I am not seeing the effects of any online activities. How do I solve this problem?
|
 |
|
|
 |
Tony Hawk's American Sk8land uses two accounts: a forum account and a
DS-Only account. A DS-Only account is account that will have a username
that is the name of your profile in your game. This account will store
your stats and art. A forum account is an account you sign up for on
this site that allows you forum access. You sign into this account from
the main page. When these accounts are “merged” then you can associate
all the information of your DS-Only account with your forum account.
Your stats and scores will upload to your forum account instead of a
DS-Only account.
Any forum account that has never been merged can be merged with a
DS-Only account that is not merged. To merge accounts, log into your
forum account and press “Merge” from your profile. Here you will be
prompted for a Username and Password. You can find this information when
you go online in Tony Hawk's American Sk8land and select “Website Info”
from the online menu. When you enter this information your accounts will
merge.
Your merged accounts can split for a number of reasons. If you Update
Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection then your DS-Only accounts changes and gets a
new username and password, thus un-merging your accounts. If you delete
your profile in the game or shut off the power while saving or go online
with your Tony Hawk's American Sk8land cartridge in a different DS then
your accounts can become un-merged, too. You will notice if your
accounts have become unmerged if Updating Stats or Art has no effect in
your forum account anymore. To solve this problem you will have to
create a new forum account and merge it with your new DS-Only account as
described above.
